Sanya Viery Chrecien – Founder of Jerico Charity Organization

Sanya Viery Chrecien is the visionary founder of Jerico Charity Organization, a fully registered charity based in Uganda, established in 2017. Driven by a deep sense of compassion and a desire to uplift the most vulnerable members of society, Sanya launched the organization with a mission to restore dignity, opportunity, and hope to children, women, and marginalized communities across Uganda.

Born and raised in a humble background, Sanya was exposed early on to the struggles of abandoned children, orphans, street youths, widows, and the elderly. These lived experiences sparked a strong desire in him to serve others selflessly. In 2017, with limited resources but a powerful vision, he founded Jerico Charity Organization with a focus on education, feeding programs, health outreach, empowerment of the girl child, and emergency humanitarian responses.
